Designed by Antonio Citterio and Partners, this contemporary hotel is set on a private street adjacent to the fashion district, La Scala opera theater, Milan’s botanical gardens, and the Brera district. Built to resemble an historic Milanese monastery, the hotel features a black-and-bronze interior showcasing exotic woods and precious marbles—Black Zimbabwe marble in the public spaces; Vicenza stone and Turkish Aphyon in the spa.
Founded upon century-old traditions of “wellness through water,” the spa offers a multitude of services including body treatments, facials, and massage. Signature therapies include holistic hot-stone remedies, and massages such as the Detox, Immunity Booster, and Jet-Lag Eliminator. Additionally, the spa houses a 10-meter indoor swimming pool accented by glass-mosaic designs of gold and emerald-green enhanced by special lighting. There is also a Turkish bath, and, outside, the 4,000 square-meter garden includes a meditation area.
