were top notch from the start. Great recommendations and options when
we were researching the vacation and excellent support once we made
a decision and reservations. The information packet that came with the
airline tickets is a nice touch. We would (and will) recommend Fiji
and Dive Kadavu, as well as McCoy Travel's services to anyone looking
for a friendly and professional travel agency. |

| Vanessa, 1. Cabin Location - Lido 307 deck had a completely private balcony because we were the top cabin deck, which meant no one could look down on your balcony. 2. Pizza Bar - Some of the best pizza we have ever had, and it only had pepperoni as a topping. 3. Cabin Size - I forgot to mention that our cabin size was more than adequate with plenty of closet space. Our cabin steward (Randy A.) was super and accommodated everything we requested. 4. Desert Rose Restaurant - We love Filet Mignon and have traveled to many place having spent a career in the military, but we must rate this steak as one of the best that we have had. 5. I know that this was out first cruise experience, so we also realize that we have no comparisons. But, if it gets better than our first cruise.......here we come!! Ted & Laura B. | Dear Melissa, I just want to express again
how happy I was with my travel arrangements to the big island and Maui
last year. Minerva
made my arrangements. Sometimes I travel alone and it's very important
to me that I not be penalized for traveling solo. Most travel these
days is offered in packages based on double occupancy and a fixed itinerary,
anything else comes with a ridiculous price tag and most agencies are
just annoyed with and sometimes rude to customers requesting anything
different. I will be sure to recommend you to my friends and you will
certainly have my business again. Thank you for your consideration and
specialty in custom travel. |

Wendi,
Our trip, this far, has been fantastic. The Sheraton in Kauai was great....NOTE: room 1414 is about 125 feet from the pounding surf...what a place. Thanks for making it work. Now, we are enjoying the Four Seasons....fabulous....they did not have the waterfront room for us so they upgraded us to a suite. What a place. I have stayed at Ritz Carlton Hotels all over the US but this place is as good as it gets. We purposely did not make reservations for our last two nights. IF you can arrange it, we would like to stay at the Kea Lani. Look forward to hearing from you. Al V. (Hudson,OH) |

Vanessa, I could not have planned a more perfect vacation. The Maui Prince Hotel in Makena is unbelievable. I loved the location, loved it being isolated, and loved how the staff was more than accommodating for my every demand. They even recommended a tattoo place and then asked if I needed help getting there. And once I came back they wanted to see it. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with everything. I traveled to Maui solo and never questioned my safety in Makena nor my safety at the Prince. This is one resort I know I will go back to (hopefully the weather will improve so I can actually dive this time!). Thanks for telling me to bring a light jacket -- who knew Maui got that cold!? Vanessa,
I am sorry for not returning your phone call when we were in the islands. We were just having so much fun and seeing so much, that I lost track of time. I am sorry. You hit a home run on the accommodations, the travel, all of it. The Embassy and Waikiki Shores may not be considered five stars, but they were fantastic for our family. Everyone was so amiable and helpful, locations were outstanding, and very easy to get to (after we figured Honolulu out). We did a few activities there (snorkeling, whale watching, surfing) and saw amazing things. We loved the laid back atmosphere of Maui and that is our family's favorite place. Oahu was fun and a lot to do. Now my family
is talking about next year. My wife even said maybe we will go back
next year. We are also considering a cruise in the Caribbean. I know
you folks handle all of that, so you have got us as your customers.
Wherever you are in the travel industry, Vanessa, we would like to work
with you. Thank you again and we will be in touch in the near future
(as you can tell, we like to do some long-range planning). |

| Hello
Melissa and Mike, The entire vacation to Fiji and Kadavu exceeded all expectations. It is true what is said about the Fijian hospitality. We were greeted at 3am with a live group playing a welcome song and grins from ear to ear--this was only a taste of what was experienced from the residents. Papageno Resort was unbelievable. The staff, the environment, the yoga, the diving--an unspoiled place on the planet. It's hard to not be excited when describing the adventure. Part of me hesitates telling folks they have to experience this before it is gone; my husband & I want to keep it undiscovered forever. Air New Zealand is a premier airline. I was quite impressed with the level of service, the flight crew, food, etc... Other Airlines on the other hand could use a few lessons from ANZ. Again, thank you to you and your staff of professionals. We will keep you in mind should we choose another vacation destination in the future. Vanaka vaka levu, Desna Y. (Reno, NV) |

Lori, Your service has been exceptional. I have done quite a bit of traveling and was a little nervous to use a travel agent I found online. When you called me at home I immediately knew I was speaking with the right person and was very comfortable with you. Your expertise was very important as I was also booking for my friends who have trusted me on previous vacations. I need to know certain details before I decide on a trip and you would be amazed with the research I did on Fiji. The fact that you had been there was a relief and my at home travel agent did not have that experience. Your prompt e-mails let me know that you cared. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Mark G. | Dear
Melissa and Julie, We had a wonderful vacation in Lanai, Hawaii at the Manele Bay Hotel. Julie Bridle, our agent was a gem!! I enjoyed working with her. She was extremely supportive, helpful and nurturing. Everyone else at McCoy was very helpful also as we had some problems and had to rebook due to a car accident on the mainland 2 days before we were supposed to leave. The Hotel staff was wonderful also. We were greeted with a Flower Lei and friendly staff. One suggestion...it would have been nice to also be greeted with a cold drink. Somehow I was expecting that as I've experienced that before and it is refreshing after a long journey. We appreciated the room upgrade from an ocean front to a mini suite ocean front at no cost. Thank you! I truly enjoyed hearing about your trip celebrating your birthday to Tonga and Fiji.( and the info on Africa etc.) My husband and I want to go to Fiji at some point. It looks absolutely wonderful. We traveled to Rarotonga and Aitutaki (another Cook Island) last year and it was incredible. A dream come true type vacation. I must say we love the South Pacific. Tahiti was my first experience of the Tropics in 1988. We will keep McCoy Travel in mind when we decide to travel to Fiji. All in all our vacation was a relaxing and very healing one for me. Rona F. Beth, We had a wonderful time in Maui and thank you very much for your help with the condo and rental car. Everything went so well. The location of the condo (Kamaole Sands) was perfect since the barbecue on the afternoon before the wedding was just across the street. And there was plenty of room in the condo for us all to be busy helping with little projects for the wedding. Also it was convenient for exploring various parts of the island. It was also good to meet you at the wedding Beth. I hope you too enjoyed the event. All the best, Signe S. (Spring Valley, NY) |

| Lori,
How can I possibly say what I want to in a few lines???? Well, I will
try my best, but by now you know how my e-mails are ... never short. Several months ago I was researching travel destinations for my wedding and honeymoon. As fate would have it, I was directed to McCoy Travel's website, which turned out to be the luckiest "find" I could ever have stumbled upon. My fiancé and I were searching for our ultimate location. We had considered Fiji, but I was nervous about traveling so far from home. And then I "met" Melissa McCoy and Lori Evans. From the very first e-mails I received from each of them, I knew I was in the most competent hands anyone could hope for. Lori and I worked together and planned a "weddingmoon" that I could never have conceived on my own. I read many online reviews from people who were not lucky enough to find McCoy Travel. They traveled to exotic destinations and had so many problems with their travel arrangements. Most of them said their bad experiences were due to their travel agent's lack of knowledge of the destination. McCoy Travel is intimate with Fiji and the many resorts. Although we have not yet taken our trip (we leave June 5th), we are confident that every little detail has been addressed. Lori has guided us through everything, from making sure we know what to do with our "layover" time, to handling all the details of the wedding ceremony itself. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and somehow, through the computer and the phone calls, Lori and I have developed a friendship that goes way beyond a client and her travel agent. I am sure I could have planned a trip to Fiji without her help, but I would have been filled with anxiety, not to mention the great rates and magnificent accommodations McCoy Travel got for us. (We're staying at a beautiful 5-star resort called Namale.) It's a very long way from home, and I needed to feel 100% confident that everything was in order. Lori has provided me with support and a feeling of security that words can not describe. We need to have two witnesses at our wedding ceremony and I am working on Lori and Melissa. That would be the icing on the cake!!! Michelle M. (Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida) |

| Vanessa, Everything was great. Thanks so much for getting this done for us!! The Kahala was beautiful, but I felt that charging for parking was a little excessive. Awesome breakfast though. Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms. The Fairmont was awesome. I think my first apartment when we got married was about 1/2 the size of my suite. Would highly recommend to anyone/everyone. They upgraded me without any hassles. The staff was great. On the morning of my 3 tank dive, they prepared a little breakfast of fresh fruit, plenty of POG (can't get enough of it) and coffee for me and had it waiting for me when I left at 6:00 to catch my dive boat. You can't beat service like that. They felt bad that I'd miss my sunnyside breakfast because they didn't open until 6:30. This place I really want to go back to. I'm sorry too that we didn't get a chance to meet up. I'm planning on coming out in Oct 2006. Will let you know more when we get closer. Please look me up when you come back to the mainland again. Please thank Julie for me for setting up some great trips. All the best, David C. (Meliville, NY) |

| Hello
there. I just wanted to give you a quick report back on my recent trip to Fiji. First, a great big thanks to Ron and Hiapo for getting us an upgrade to an Oceanfront Bure at Castaway, it made all the difference being on the windward side. The original bure we were assigned to had no air circulation (even with the ceiling fans) and was extremely hot - and didn't really have much of a view. The Outrigger Reef was beautiful and our room had a great view! The Ivi restaurant was also excellent - great service and awesome food - don't try to BYOW though. The helicopter flight from Outrigger to Castaway was breathtaking, and seriously the only option I'd recommend to anyone transferring between resorts...worth every penny in the time it saved. The island hopping day trip at Castaway was a blast and included snorkeling at Honeymoon Island which was fantastic...this fish there were so friendly, they literally came up to greet you when you got in the water...yeh, I know, they were just looking for bread, but it makes for a good story. The Air Pacific flights service was exceptional. I'm not entirely sure if it was because of my Tabua Class membership, but I feel I received top notch treatment. I had an entire row to myself (on the upper deck) for all 4 legs of my journey. The priority baggage tags were very helpful for sure, and the lounges were pretty comfy with great wine and snacks. Also, funny coincidence...the flight attendant on my flight back was the daughter of our Divemaster (Eric) at Castaway. I'll definitely be in touch to book my next adventure! Thanks again. ~Angelika |

| Hi
Melissa, I really enjoy getting your e-mails, even though they are depressing as h***. I am stuck here in cold Chicago and you send me beautiful vacation destinations from around the world. That should be illegal. We’ll my wife and I have not vacationed since our honeymoon in 2001. Most has to do with having a 16 month old and a 2 month old. Unfortunately this trend looks as if it will not lighten up for several more years. Trend meaning raising kids not having more kids. Please keep me on your e-mail and if a nice vacation package comes across at a reasonable price I would always be interested in looking into it. Thanks again for the best vacation my wife and I have ever been on. Kyle C. (Lake Zurich, IL) |

| Hello
Melissa, Magical is the best word to describe our recent vacation to Fiji and New Zealand. The itinerary was superb. Every activity that Cindy planned was tailored to my family’s preferences - from our beachfront bure in Fiji to exploring the North Island of New Zealand. The accommodations were superb. We enjoyed every minute from swimming twice a day in Fiji as the sun rose and set to sliding down 50 ft. sand dunes in New Zealand on our stomachs. Fiji was very relaxing, peaceful and fun. The best part of Fiji was the native people. Customer service comes naturally to them because they serve from the heart. I don’t think they require customer service training. One of the staff members at Treasure Island Resort in Fiji actually cried when we left. We felt like family. My children were thrilled. Every day in New Zealand was a new adventure. This was the vacation of a lifetime. Our travel agent Cindy was also great. She was very responsive to our needs. We really appreciated all the effort she put into planning our vacation. Regards, Kim B. (Brooklyn, NY) |

Vanessa,
I have to say, you are the best travel agent that I have dealt with over the years. Everything went smoothly and you took care of everything in a timely manner. You answered all of my inquiries and dealt with all of our needs in a concerned and professional manner. I will use you and your service whenever we travel with in your areas of service. The Outrigger Fairway Villas were great. Each unit was supplied by the owner, therefore some had a better stock of utensils, cookware, TV's, etc. They had great views and were well appointed. Everything was wonderful. The staff was certainly attentive, did a great job and were always available. I would like to thank you again for making our Girls Golf Getaway so easy and so special. The rates, the accommodations and the service could not have been better. We will remember this trip as one of our best for a long time. Susan F. and the girls! (Avila

| Hi
Vanessa, I’ve been meaning to get back to you about my wonderful trip to Hawaii!! WE absolutely loved the Marriott….we did a lot of driving since our family was right in Kona. I had no idea there was nothing in between the two places and the road was so straight, it felt like forever. We had fun anyway. I have a friend that is interested in working with you to set up a trip to Maui. They have the first few days in a time share but need help with other days and the airfare. I will give him your email address. Can’t wait for our next trip. Thanks again, |

Lori, Some body better pinch me!!! I got your e-mail early this morning and as I drove to the barn to feed my horses, there were tears streaming down my face. How could I be so lucky? Not only lucky to have found Bruce, but to have found you and McCoy Travel. Of all the billions of people in this world, it simply amazes me. I have to run because today is my daughter's birthday and I am overwhelmed with so much to do. I just wanted to get back to you and tell you we are SOLD!!! Do we give you a credit card number or how should we handle getting you the deposit? I will be back later and after dinner I will make sure I check my e-mail and send you whatever you need to seal the deal! I know it goes without saying, but I can't tell you how happy you have made me (and Bruce, but you know, he's a guy and not nearly as emotional). I believe we require two witnesses at our wedding ceremony. Let's see ... you and Melissa!!! What do you think? Wouldn't that just be the icing on the cake????? Until later ...Your new best
friend, |

- Vinaka! Wow what can I say, other than Wadigi
is a little piece of heaven. Fiji is wonderful, and most beautiful. Our
stay at Wadigi is an experience that will never be forgotten! The food
is to die for, the view breath taking, the staff just like family. Ones
experience could never be better! Wadigi is the BEST island around hands down. This was my first time out of the USA, I can honestly say I don¹t want to go back! I love happiness and beauty within and Wadigi and all the staff hold this. During my stay I became very attached to all the staff and who could forget boof. Tracey job well done! Keep up the good job. Your place is something to be very proud of! I wish all the best of luck and God Bless. I will never forget my wonderful experience. Thank you again. My love to all. | Thank
you so much for all the wonderful support your agency provided. It started
with Minerva
answering the phone at an ungodly hour of the morning. She was able to
find us a plane flight and accommodations over Christmas and New Years
( a miracle). AWA was a very pleasant airline. I was impressed with the
flight. We really enjoyed Lahaina Shores. Both the mountain view (quiet) and ocean view (awesome) rooms were great. The staff was very friendly, we walked each morning on the beach, and it helped to be able to cook on several nights. Wendi did a great job planning activities. Ulalena was spectacular! I would go again just for the drummers! Thank you, too, Wendi, for handling the reimbursement of the snorkel trip that didn't happen. I appreciated your prompt response. The trip was wonderful and I will recommend your agency to anyone planning a trip to the Islands. Jan K. (Pacheco, CA ) |

Melissa:
Thanks very much for your note. Ginny & I had
a wonderful time on our honeymoon in Fiji, and we appreciate the tremendous
efforts of you and your staff. During our first week, we stayed at the
Outrigger.
We took a day trip with the Rivers Fiji company to do some whitewater
rafting in the Navua River Gorge. The scenery was phenomenal, and the
guides were very friendly and accommodating. We spent our second week
in Vatulele.
The beaches were fantastic (and even more beautiful than we imagined.)
However, we were most impressed with the staff. There was nothing they
would not do to make us feel pampered.

(hello) everyone, For a little update on our trip so far...we've relaxed a lot. The resort is more beautiful than either of us imagined and the house we're in has no need to leave. We have been going to most meals at the dining room though. We'll explore the resort a bit more tomorrow I'm sure. Today we went into town (Savusavu) and filed all of the paperwork. We met w/ Danielle and planed the wedding here at Namale too. Technically we are legal but the ceremony will be around 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 30th. Right now it's 6:10 PM in Fiji and about 12 midnight US Central time...you can all figure out when we'll be getting married "your time". Well, we're off to enjoy our wedding-moon. We love and miss you all. Vinaka (thank you) for all of your thoughts and prayers for our safe trip and blessed marriage. See you all soon as Mr. & Mrs. Al & Emily G. Bula, Al and Emily G. from Houston! We just returned from a honeymoon in Fiji. The first half of our trip was spent at Qamea and the second half was spent back on the main island of Fiji off of the coral coast. Staying at Qamea definitely made our trip unforgettable. We loved the personal touches that the resort had to offer and these were all because of the wonderful Fijian staff members. The meals were superb and the beachside massages, scrubs and facials were the best we ever had. (Our next massage will not be the same only being able to listen to a CD of the ocean because at Qamea we had the real thing!) We absolutely loved the excursions that were available while staying at Qamea. Because of the size of the resort we were not ushered onto a bus with a hundred other people and made to stay on a strict schedule. We truly enjoyed being given a personal tour guide who could explain the Fijian culture and allowed us to set the pace of our day! I do not think we truly realized how much we enjoyed staying on Qamea Island until the day before we were to leave the island and move onto our next destination. We enjoyed a private dinner at our bure and skipped breakfast knowing that I would not be able to say goodbye to the wonderful guests and staff members who we were fortunate enough to have met. To the other guests: Belinda & Robert and Michelle & Jason, we wish you a wonderful marriage filled with a lifetime of happiness that I know you have found in each other. We enjoyed sharing many meals and great conversations with all of you. The staff did an exceptional job embracing us into their Fijian family. They did so with an effortless sincerity that made our trip to Qamea truly unforgettable. Since I had planned a very quiet departure relatively early in the morning, the Isa Lea departure that was waiting for us was an experience we were not expecting and will never forget. I cried for the next two hours and every time I share the details of our treasured honeymoon. This was a trip of a lifetime that we will definitely take again! Vinaka! | Hello
Melissa My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at both Dive Kadavu and Maravu this past October. Mark planned the trip and everything went off without a hitch. While we were at Dive Kadavu you arranged for us to attend a meke in Natokalau (?sp). It was a wonderful experience that we will always remember. This was our second trip to Fiji using your services and hopefully not our last. Tim and I had a great time at both resorts and would recommend them to anyone. Diving was great at both locations. Joeli at Dive Kadavu had so much patience with me being a novice diver and taught me so much. Even got to see 2 blue ribbon eels. Dominic and the boys at Swiss Fiji on Taveuni were great too. We were able to dive the Great White Wall which I did not think I would be able to do...but they gave me lots of extra attention to make sure I had a great experience. Hope to hear from you soon. | Hi
Trish!
Kevin and I are back from St. Lucia, and I just wanted to thank you so much for all of your hard work. I swear, I think we had the best room of that category in the whole resort. We had tile floors, and the location was perfect. The 24 hour room service and concierge service were great, and we made full use of both! I gained 8 lbs. in that week, so you KNOW we had a good time. You really worked hard to make everything perfect, and because of you, it was. So again, we both thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. You're the best travel agent we've ever had, and you'll be our one and only from now on. One thing we forgot to do was turn in our request for the Waterford crystal champagne flutes. Oops! Is it too late to collect on that, do you think? Maybe I should call Sandals. If you have any advice for me, I'd appreciate it! If not, I'll call Sandals and figure it out. Also, we received our luggage, and it's really very nice! More than we expected, in fact. I hope your holidays were fantastic. Take care of yourself. You'll be hearing from us when we get ready to plan our next adventure! Sincerely, Kendra G. (Upland, CA) |
