My name is Tish Carreira I was born and raised on the on the windward side of Oahu, Kailua, Kaneohe & Waimanalo. My favorite thing to do at a young age was body surf, dance, write poems, & art. A regular routine for my family was packing a lunch hitting the pavement searching for big waves to surf. Some of our favorite spots were, Sandy Beach, Makapu’u, & Makaha beach.

Further towards Enchanted Lake there’s Lanikai overlooking Twin Island where we use to see fire works every year. The beaches along the bay are good spots for skim boarding, boogie boarding, jet skiing or just laying in the sun. Oahu is definitely a big playground for the whole family filled with many activities to do such as visiting Sea Life Park, The Water Park, snorkeling, skiing, parasailing, boat tours dinner cruises and many more. The land tours are a really good thing to consider if you are just here for 1 or 2 days. Booking an all day tour will take you to The Arizona/ Pearl Harbor, North Shore, or the grand circle Island. Land tours are available on all of the islands call me to make reservations. Some days we would just pack a lunch and just drive around the island. Making our own stops enjoying the scenery and visiting parts of the island that still hold on to the "Old Time" Mom & Pop stores and of course the beautiful beaches.

At one point in my life I finally realized that I had to cut down on the night life Oahu had to offer and decided to move to Kauai to raise my daughters. What can I say about Kauai but, "Beautiful" absolutely my favorite island by far. The vegetation is just breath taking. The beaches again are my favorite. My daughters love the swinging bridge, wet caves & the waimea Canyon. Lots and lots of things to do. Poipu is a little town north of the island being there feels is like you are on a private deserted island. It has little deli's shops and the most beautiful beach on the island. Hanalei Bay & Koloa is awesome hiking tours are just breathtaking. Visiting Kauai is definitely something everyone should have on there must do list. When Hurricane "Iniki" hit the island everything was at a stand still for a lot of people. Houses were destroyed, jobs were lost, businesses closed the economy was at a stand still. We decided to move to Maui.

After loosing everything on Kauai and trying to start over it seemed like there was nothing out there for me to do any more. This is when I got the privilege of meeting Melissa McCoy & staff. I was first hired as her assistant and later started training to do documents. In the back of my mind I always felt I wanted to do more. I wanted to get more involved with the customer. As far as I can remember I always enjoyed interacting and talking to people. I especially enjoyed sharing and exchanging each others cultures and experiences through travel, in conversation and share family precious moments, compare notes on how the grand children are and how the families doing.

At an early age I knew I wanted to be in a profession that involved working with a lot of people, I just didn’t know what that profession was at the time. I am the mother of 5 beautiful daughters and have 6 grand-daughters today I can say that I've have never been happier. I'm finally at a place in my life that I love what I'm doing as a profession working with visitors from all over the world as a Hawaii Activity Specialist at Auntie Snorkel/Aloha Destinations. I'm working for an awesome person, Melissa McCoy and got to meet a bunch of the coolest people within the ohana. Haven't done much traveling outside of the Hawaiian Islands. So let me share with you all the reasons why you should visit Hawaii, Maui, Kauai, & Lanai, the place I call home.
